The new site offers better information and access plus loads of other features. No one is on a takeover bid; it’s still the same old club with the same old people. It’s only really been done to bring the club to a new level. All good and successful organisations need to look onwards and upwards; we should be no different in wanting what we have to be the best both for its members and the people that visit the site. Dave and Andrew (Whizzer) did try to email members to advise them but the old site was down as it has been a few times in the last few weeks.What has happened in the background is that those Committee members that have been struggling for months to keep things together asked for a little help from people with a business background to help bring the club forward, the new website being a start.A new logo is being designed and the clubs name changed a little to “Kernow Smart Car Owners Club”. It has been registered at Companies House as a non profit making company in the name of “Kernow Smart Ltd” – A Company Limited by Guarantee, that way every club that joins the clubs as a member is a Shareholder in it.
