Just to let you all know, our clubs members have been invited to 3 Shows in September this year, and I would like to know any names who would like to attend with their cars.
First one, 13th September (Saturday) is LANLIVERY Show at Sweetshouse, Lanlivery, Always well attended and a good show to look rounds too.
Secondly, is the South West Stationary Engine Club Show at Perranwell Village Hall and Playing Fields on SUNDAY 14th September at Perranwell. (Between Truro and Falmouth).
Lastly, is the Chacewater and District Harvest Fayre at Killifreth Hill, Chacewater on SUNDAY 21st September.
It goes without saying ALL these shows are for LOCAL Charities Etc, so I would ask all of you who can to come along and support these events please do.
All who CAN attend can you please reply ON THIS POSTING and NOT to Fran, pointing out WHICH or all of the shows you can attend, I will sort relevant paperwork for you.
Later this year, hopefully in early September I am arranging a trip out to smartville, Hambach, for those of you that don't know, this is the factory where our beloved smarts are made.
At the moment I am looking for rough numbers of who would be interested in travelling out to Hambach, this is roughly 790 miles so it is not to be taken likely, but it is well worth it. Now we can either travel out with our own cars or use a Minibus, or a combination of both depending on numbers.
The plan is to stay out there for 3/4 days, giving you time to look around the area, relax after the trip out and to generally enjoy yourself.
I will need to know if you are thinking you may like to come along ASAP as I will need to draw up prices, Book the Factory Tour and sort out a number of other issues.
